Tanzania is located in eastern Africa. The country is well-known for its nature features, like the Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, or the Serengeti National Park. About 38% of the country's land area lies in protected areas for conservation. The giraffe is the national animal. Tanzania is not only densly forested, but is also home to the continent's deepest lake (Lake Victoria) and beautiful beaches (e.g. Zanzibar Archipelago). Tanzania is the most linguistically diverse country in East Africa, with about 100 spoken languages.
