On the mundolore website​

  • Email address (if you sign up for early access or updates).

We do not use analytics or marketing cookies.

In the mundolore app

When you create an account or use the app, we collect:

  • Email address and password (for authentication).
  • User-generated content, such as trips, places, notes, uploaded documents, and scanned text.
  • AI-generated summaries, created through OpenAI’s API, stored securely under your account.

We do not collect or share personal data with OpenAI. Only place names or similar non-personal inputs are sent to generate summaries.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the mundolore app and its features.
  • Manage your account and authenticate your access.
  • Communicate with you about updates, support, or testing opportunities.
  • Improve the app’s performance and functionality.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Early Access

If you sign up for Early Access, we collect your email address through a third-party service (Typeform). We use this information to:

  • Contact you with invitations to join private testing.
  • Schedule user interviews and gather feedback to improve mundolore.
  • Inform you about progress toward public release.

Your participation is voluntary. You can request to remove your information at any time by contacting hello@mundolore.com.

Data storage and security

  • All data is stored securely using Google Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, and Storage).
  • Data is stored in the European Union.
  • We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or misuse.

No transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we strive to protect your information with up-to-date standards.

Children's privacy

mundolore may be used by minors; however, accounts for users under the age of 16 should be created with parental consent, where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without such consent.
